1. Objective of the training
Electrical engineering is a broad field that has a wide range of subfields such as electronics, computer engineering, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, robotics, radio frequency engineering, signal, instrumentation and microelectronics. Many of these sub-disciplines overlap with other branches of engineering, covering a large number of specializations such as hardware engineering, power electronics, electromagnetics and waves, micro engineering -waves, nanotechnology, electrochemistry, renewable energies, mechatronics, electrical materials science and much more.
The objective of this sector is therefore to train senior technicians and engineers with very good knowledge in the sub-fields listed above.
Our students are trained in problem solving through training that combines theory and practice and includes numerous projects for the design and construction of industrial electrical, electronic and robotic systems. Particular emphasis is also placed on systems for the production and operation of renewable energies, in particular solar energy. Our students are also trained to understand the social, economic and ecological impacts related to the practice of their profession.
